About the Role
The Social Media Manager will play an instrumental role in driving brand loyalty, increasing customer engagement, and growing our online community through impactful social media strategies. You will collaborate with various departments, including Marketing, Content Creation, and Customer Support, to ensure our message resonates well with our audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Amazon's branding goals.
- Collaborate with the content team to create engaging social media content that drives interactions and conversions.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics across all social media channels, adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Engage with the community by responding to customer inquiries and comments across various platforms to foster positive relationships.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive activities to keep Amazon at the forefront of social media innovation.
- Work with Influencers and brand ambassadors to enhance the company’s outreach and amplify campaigns.
- Develop promotional campaigns that resonate with our target customer demographic.
- Manage paid social media advertising and optimize campaigns for better performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Pinterest.
- Proficient in using social media analytics tools and understanding data analytics to drive strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt tone and message for different audiences.
- Demonstrated creativity and ability to craft unique and engaging content that aligns with brand goals.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with graphic design tools and video editing software.
- Experience in managing social media crises and implementing restorative actions.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing.
- Previous experience in building and managing a brand’s social media presence from scratch.
